These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) constitute a legally binding agreement between you (“User”, “Customer”, “You”) and Home Tech Service Center (“Company”, “We”, “Us”, “Our”), governing your access to and use of the Website https://hometechservicecenter.com (“Website”) and any appliance repair, maintenance, installation, or related services provided by the Company (“Services”).
By accessing or using the Website or booking any Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, you must discontinue use of the Website and Services immediately.
1. DEFINITIONS
For the purposes of this Agreement:
- “Service” refers to any repair, installation, maintenance, or related service provided by the Company.
- “Technician” means a trained professional appointed or authorized by the Company to provide Services.
- “Device” refers to any appliance on which the Customer seeks Services.
- “Third-Party Platforms” include advertising, analytics, payment, CRM, or communication tools integrated with the Website.
2. GENERAL ACCEPTANCE
Your access and use of the Services constitute acceptance of these Terms. These Terms apply to all Customers, whether booking online, through third-party platforms, via phone/WhatsApp, or through any other communication channel.
3. SCOPE OF SERVICES
The Company provides repair, installation, and maintenance of household appliances, including but not limited to ACs, refrigerators, washing machines, microwaves, chimneys, and dishwashers. Service descriptions are indicative and subject to modification without notice.
The Company does not represent or warrant that repair will return the appliance to its original or brand-new state.
4. SERVICE BOOKINGS & APPOINTMENTS
- All bookings made via Website, phone, or third-party platforms are subject to confirmation by the Company.
- Arrival times provided are estimates; delays may occur due to traffic, weather, emergencies, or operational constraints.
- Customers shall ensure safe, unobstructed access to the appliance at the time of appointment.
- The Company reserves the right to reschedule appointments due to technician unavailability or unforeseen circumstances.
5. DIAGNOSIS & ESTIMATES
- Prices shown during booking or communicated over the phone are estimates only.
- Final pricing shall be based on actual inspection, labor requirements, parts required, and any additional work requested.
- The Company shall not be bound by verbal assumptions made by the Customer regarding the nature of the issue.
6. PAYMENTS & INVOICING
- Payment is due immediately upon completion of the Service, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
- Accepted payment modes include UPI, bank transfer, cash, or other modes displayed on the Website.
- Any advance paid for part procurement or special service is non-refundable unless the Company cancels the Service.
- The Customer shall bear all applicable taxes and payment gateway charges, where applicable.
7. PARTS, REPLACEMENTS & WARRANTY
- Parts may be sourced from authorized or third-party vendors as per availability.
- Warranty, where provided, applies exclusively to the specific part replaced or the work done.
- Warranty shall be void if:
- The appliance is tampered with by unauthorized persons.
- Damage results from misuse, mishandling, improper installation, voltage fluctuation, or environmental conditions.
- The Customer fails to comply with technician instructions.
- The Company shall not be liable for defects in third-party parts; claims shall be addressed to the manufacturer/vendor.
8. LIMITATION OF TECHNICIAN LIABILITY
- Technicians are trained, but they may refuse service if conditions are unsafe.
- The Customer agrees not to leave the technician unattended during service.
- The Company is not responsible for pre-existing faults or age-related deterioration in appliances.
9. CUSTOMER RESPONSIBILITIES
- The Customer must provide accurate information during booking.
- The Customer must ensure a safe working environment with access to power and water (where required).
- The Customer is responsible for securing valuables before service begins.
- The Customer shall not request illegal or unsafe modifications to appliances.
10. CANCELLATION & REFUND POLICY
- Cancellation is permitted before technician dispatch. Once dispatched, a visit fee may apply.
- No-show by the Customer may result in a visit charge.
- If the Company cancels the service, any prepaid amount shall be refunded.
- Refunds shall be processed through the original method within a reasonable time frame.
11. ADVERTISING, LEAD GENERATION & THIRD-PARTY TOOLS
- The Company may use Google Ads, GMB, Meta Ads, or other platforms for marketing.
- Customer information submitted through ads or third-party forms may be used for service communication, updates, and follow-ups.
- The Company is not responsible for errors in information displayed by third-party platforms.
12. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY
All Website content—including logos, text, layout, images, design, and data—is the exclusive property of the Company. Unauthorized use, reproduction, distribution, or modification is prohibited and may result in legal action.
13. THIRD-PARTY LINKS & INTEGRATIONS
The Website may contain links or integrations to third-party tools such as analytics, payment gateways, maps, CRM systems, or social platforms. The Company does not control and is not responsible for third-party content, privacy practices, or availability.
14. LIMITATION OF LIABILITY
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- The Company shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, punitive, or special damages.
- The Company’s total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by the Customer for the specific Service.
- The Company shall not be liable for:
- Loss of data, profits, opportunity, or business.
- Damage arising from electrical issues, voltage fluctuations, or external factors.
- Customer's failure to follow instructions.
15. INDEMNIFICATION
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Company, its employees, technicians, and affiliates from all claims, losses, damages, liabilities, or expenses arising from:
- Your breach of these Terms;
- Your misuse of the Services;
- Your violation of applicable laws or third-party rights.
16. FORCE MAJEURE
The Company shall not be liable for delays or failure to perform due to events beyond reasonable control, including natural disasters, strikes, technical failures, pandemics, or governmental restrictions.
17. GOVERNING LAW & DISPUTE RESOLUTION
- These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India.
- Courts located in Delhi, India shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

18. SEVERABILITY
If any provision of these Terms is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall continue in full force and effect.
19. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
The Company may revise these Terms at any time. Updated Terms will be posted on the Website. Continued use of the Website or Services after updates constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
